Dona Paula is a popular tourist destination in Goa. This area was a village in earlier days, now it is the address of National Institute of Oceanography. Dona Paula is named after Da. Paula Amaral Antonia de Souto-Maior, he is a historic character of Portuguese India. This is popular because of its beautiful ocean view.  Dona Paula is called lovers’ paradise.  It is named for the romantic heroine of Portuguese.

How to reach Dona Paula

Dona Paula is a well-connected place in Goa. From Madgaon Junction Railway Station it is 41 km far away.

One can go from Panjim, From there you can get buses easily to reach Dona Paula.

From Anjuna/ Baga/ Candolim/ Calangute, you can get buses as well you can car, hired bikes and all to reach Dona Paula.
