Scuba diving in Goa is an extraordinary experience and pleasure I had in my life long period. Scuba diving is famous in Andaman Nicobar Island with proper guidance and training. However, The Goa experience is not so ignorable. We didn’t plan to do this. But the fact came in fever anytime in life and it happens, fortunately. It was an offer from our hotel that we could experience scuba diving and the team gave us a discount. Without any second thought, we started. I describe the charges and other details in the below of this post.

Scuba Diving in Goa

In the morning we woke up around 7.00 am. A pickup van was already waiting for us. It was a traveler pick up. We stayed at a hotel at Titos Lane. The van picked us up from the hotel and dropped us at the Vasco ship port. Then a boat took us at an island named Bat Island. We had our breakfast at the boat. We were 10-15 persons at one batch.

Scuba Diving Training

Then we started our training. The trainer trained us on how to swim with the diving jacket. As I don’t know how to swim, I thought it was difficult for me. Many of us thought the same. But the water was not so deep and the trainer was always there to guide us. They suggested we warm-up before went to water. A heavy oxygen cylinder was at my back. We prepared how to breathe through the oxygen pipe. I could not use our nose under the water; we had to take oxygen from the cylinder only.

With these tips, I entered into the water. Under the water, I visited the water life the first time. The fishes and the corals, I viewed in front of me. It was a nice experience. Few from us denied entering into the water. After completing the diving of all 15, we went back to Vasco.

The traveler was waiting for us. We climbed into the van. They took us into a restaurant.  We had our lunch there. Bangra fish was popular there in Goa. We had that and a chicken thali we took. We went back to our hotel.
